National Development Company (NDC) Releases PHP 70 Million Funding to Manila Healthtek Inc. (MTek)

Manila, Philippines – The National Development Company (NDC) has officially released PHP 70 million in funding to Manila Healthtek Inc. on August 15, 2024. This strategic investment represents an acquisition by NDC via equity purchase in the company. MTek will use the investment to mainly fund, among other requirements, the completion of MTek’s first state-of-the-art molecular diagnostic and medical device manufacturing facility in Marikina City. The Industry 4.0 facility is slated for completion by end November, 2024.

Manila Healthtek Inc., a leading Filipino biotechnology firm, is known for its pioneering work in diagnostics and molecular technology. The funding from NDC will support the development and production of advanced healthcare technologies, including diagnostic kits, medical devices, and other biotechnology-driven solutions that address the pressing health needs of the Filipino population.
